Hi there! My name is Sue and I will be your Saigon Glory Newspaper Club President this year. I’m excited to be collaborating with members, both new and old, to produce quality writing pieces we can share with the SSIS community. Together, I hope we can highlight the diversity of skills and experiences within our student body and establish an outlet where students can freely express themselves. Apart from writing, I have a big passion for anything and everything food-related and spend lots of my time in the kitchen baking delectable confectionaries. I’m also a huge cat person so feel free to discuss or trade cute pet pictures with me anytime <3

Hi! My name is Emily. I’m currently a senior. This year, I’m so excited to be the Saigon Glory Newspaper’s Head of Writing. I really love spending time with fellow writers at SGN to develop timeless pieces and valuable content for the SSIS community. Aside from reading and writing, I also love anything music-related. I’ve been playing the piano for years, and I’m also a flutist in our school’s concert band. Feel free to send a message if you’re interested in discussing any of these topics! 🫶

I'm JH, a senior at our school. Over the years, I've developed a strong passion for writing, and this interest has led me to the newspaper club. Besides writing, music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy outdoor activities to unwind. Through the newspaper club, I'm eager to delve deeper into school events, bring out hidden stories, and ensure that the many voices of our student body are heard. I'm excited about the year ahead and the contributions I can make.

Hello everyone, my name is Lily and I’m a current junior. I am a new member of Saigon Glory and am working in the department of writing. Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, and spending time with friends. Through being a part of Saigon Glory, I look forward to making new friends, coming up with new ideas, as well as writing new concepts for the website.

Hi, My name is Minh Anh. I am currently in 11th grade, and this is my third year at SSIS. This is my first time being a Saigon Glory Newspaper club member, and I am part of the writing team. I became interested in the club as I wanted to expand my writing skills and learn any tips or advice. I am excited to get to work with the club members, write stories, and learn more about ways to improve my writing skills. Besides the club, I have various hobbies, including listening to music, reading books, sometimes crocheting, and playing tennis.

Hello, my name is Ngan. This is the first year that I joined Saigon Glory and I am really exited to see what we have planned in the future. I really enjoy photographing moments and I also really love writing about experiences that we have. Some other hobbies that I pursue is reading. I know it may sound cliche but it really helps me relax and dive into a new world, do you also like reading? I hope that we can cooperate and get to know each other better in the future.

Hello there! My name is Sydney, and this is my first year in Newspaper—and in high school, wouldn’t you know—and I am here to bring you everything from the most absurd fictional plots to the most enticing reports of events at school. There’s a lot to remember every year, and how will you keep track of it? Exactly, the newspaper club. And, by extension, your trusty writer, me. Outside of my overbearing ego in writing, I enjoy drawing and playing volleyball, even if in both I am rather disappointing.
