Your Clothing Conundrum: How to scientifically select your SSIS uniform outfit

So, I’m guessing you’ve clicked onto this either because you have issues picking out an outfit with your uniform…or have nothing better to do (probably the latter). Now let’s make things clear: this article isn’t exactly here because you’ll listen to it. Like seriously, did you think that I’d expect you to give up that heavenly hoodie because of some random freshman’s advice? No. But if you are in the business of following a forecast, read on my friend. Now here’s the conundrum: common sense (and most teachers) will tell you, on days where Ho Chi Minh City’s weather decides to be a pain in the backside, teachers will ramp up their aircon….like a lot. Therefore, if you’re planning on wearing that nice and simplistic thin sky blue polo, well then be ready to shiver whilst you try to cram your week's worth of homework in one study hall block (though you probably already do). What about a nice and fashionable sweatshirt, you can always take it off right? Wrong. The sweatshirt, however “fashionable” or however fitting it is with your outfit, is a fraud. Once that thing absorbs a milliliter of sweat, it’ll feel like you're walking out of a cold shower in an air conditioned room. And don’t even get me started on the hoodie. Despite however comfortable it is, it’s not only stuffy, a pain to try to fit in your backpack, not portable, but also soaks up sweat like a sponge. and is impossible to find if you ever leave it unattended. So here's an engenius solution, your saving grace: the Jacket. Anticlimactic, I know, but hear me out. paired with the thicker navy blue polo shirt, it’s a match made in heaven (more like the SSIS uniform shop). Not only is both fashionable, the combo is both breezy enough to prevent you from profusely sweating in the hallways or cafeteria, but warm enough that you can actually focus in GSP or Life Science (haha sure). Plus, if you want to go to the fitness lab or play some sports during lunch, the jacket can easily be stowed away in a backpack, or just wrapped around your waist. Points for fashionability! In addition to that, you might just want to slot on that jacket for your next block. My point is, bear with me here, the jacket and the navy blue polo are like Batman and Robin, like Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen and like milk and oreos. It is the finest, most complementing duo you’ll find in your SSIS uniform closet. Here are the results of a “survey” (i asked 4 freshmen) I did if you care:

The Hoodie: Comfortability 10/10, Fashionability 8/10, Portability 4/10 The Navy Polo: Comfortability 7/10, Fashionability 9/10, Portability 9/10 The Sky Blue Polo: Comfortability 7/10, Fashionability 6/10, Portability 9/10 The Fleece: Comfortability 7/10, Fashionability 10/10, Portability 7/10 The Jacket: Comfortability 9/10, Fashionability 6/10, Portability 8/10 So as you can see from the results of my very carefully controlled survey , the jacket, whilst not very appearance-orientated, has the best average overall of comfortability and portability. Along with the navy polo’s fashionability, they make an ideal match, an all rounded outfit, and encompassing all the elements you would need in your uniform. Plus, it’s also budget-friendly so I would definitely go pick it up today!
